We have been trying to get a video loaded....we will try tomorrow...The video is of the boys skiing down our driveway. (Sorry for the loud commentary by mommy - I was just very excited!) We knew our steep driveway was good for something - we definitely can't play basketball in our driveway, but we sure can ski and sled down it! We bought both sets of kids skis off craigslist last year. We didn't pay over $20 for either of them (bindings and boots included). The boys really want to go to Bogus Basin, our local ski resort. We'll go soon enough - but for now just some practice at home. Enjoy the pictures til the video is working!
Cameron is almost 4 months old - so we started him on some rice cereal after his last feeding of the night. As you can see he was not sure about it at first, but once he got a taste of it, he loved it! He kept putting his fingers in his mouth which made for a messy mealtime. He isn't hurting for calories, but being breastfed, he goes every 3 hours...mommy needs more sleep! I will admit that it worked! He slept for 5 hours!

Tomorrow officially starts our Christmas vacation. We are rather sad because Maureen's family (Grampy and Grammy and Uncle Mike) is not going to be traveling due to bad weather over the pass. The presents have been shipped. It will be hard to open the presents on Christmas with the family 6 hours away. Our hearts will be with them! This is our first Christmas at home - we have always traveled to Yakima or Twin Falls....we wanted the boys to have the opportunity to have some memories at home. We celebrated Christmas yesterday with Brian's parents - they drove up from Twin to watch the boys open presents! The top winners?!? Colin got a light saber (which he calls a light saver), Curtis got a red ford truck pulling a boat on a trailer (that has already taken a dip in the bath tub - by the way, it's not waterproof - he was launching the boat and the entire thing went in!), and Cameron got a Baby Einstein floor gym. They also got new sleeping bags for camping, however, they both slept in them last night and because they were warm and snuggly, they slept in today! That is quite a rare occasion...the sleeping bags may be a nightly thing!
It is suppose to snow more here the rest of the week so I'm sure we'll have some fun pictures of the boys outside. We may even get Cameron out in the white stuff!

That's too bad about your parents not being able to make it for Christmas! Depending on how much snow we get tomorrow night, we might end up in the same situation and my mom is only across town.
Hope you have a great Christmas! Skiiing in the driveway looks like something we should try. :)
