Well...last night was the first t-ball game! Brian is in Portland for a Church of God conference, so we took the video camera to record it for him! However, I can't put it on the blog - it's way too long. Here he is in his uniform. He did so good! The entire team got to bat 4 times...well, both teams hit 4 times. It took forever! Colin got to play catcher one inning...he loved it! The other innings, he played where the coach put him - pitcher, second base and short stop. It was a tie! Colin hit really well - he was 9th in the batting line up - he'll tell you he had to bat last one inning....he had to run to the potty and unfortunately there was a line! Oh well! He made it back in time to bat last. Brian will be back for the next game on Thursday - he's the assistant coach. Another dad filled in for himlast night.

Today was fine without daddy. We were all up early and got to where we all needed to be (with a little help from Rebekah - she took Curtis to pre-school).
Tonight, we went to McDonalds for dinner - Tuesday nights are half-price happy meals! We just went through the drive thru. We were headed to watch Colin's best friend, Luke play his first t-ball game...however, there were huge dark clouds looming overhead and the national weather service even came on the radio on our way there saying there was a severe weather alert for our area! Yikes! It hadn't started raining, but we could see lightening in the distance. We got to the game in the middle of the first inning - Luke was catching!! :) When they switched so his team could hit, they called the game because of the weather. Oh well! At least Colin got to see Luke catch! Hopefully we can compare our two t-ball schedules so they can see each other play!
I am staying home from work tomorrow. I am exhausted! I do not sleep well when Brian is gone - and am running on about 4 hours of sleep. Hopefully I can recover and have enough energy to go back to work on Thursday!
