The finish line is in view!

Our busy winter is coming to an end. The beginning of our spring is still a little busy, but the finish line is in view!!
We had a very busy weekend - our final retreat of the winter. This weekend, we took our senior highers to the same place we took our junior highers...it was a quicker trip since the kiddos didn't have a day off of school. It was the only weekend the camp had available. We did take pictures of the retreat, but they are on our church camera and Brian needs to bring it home from work. We'll post some new ones from this weekend soon! Until then, enjoy these!
Maureen has been doing an informal weight watchers with a girlfriend from church. So far, she's lost 4 pounds in 4 weeks - yes I know this isn't much, but it's a total of 17 since Cameron has been born! Just a little bit more and she'll finally fit into the 'goal dress' (the bridesmaids dress for Sheryl's wedding!)
Curtis and Cameron both had check-ups at the dr Friday. Curtis is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight...gonna be a big boy! Colin really isn't happy that Curtis will be bigger than him! Oh well...at least he's healthy. Cameron is in the 75th for weight and 50th for height. He's pretty healthy. The dr said he probably had RSV a few weeks ago and got over it himself. He still has a cough and will probably have it for a while longer. Cameron got 3 shots. Curtis did not get any! He was dreading going to the dr because he didn't want shots - apparently they don't give shots at the 3 year check-up.
Brian and I are getting very excited for next week...one week from today we will be in sunny California! We are going to a Purpose Driven Youth Ministry conference. It's at Saddleback Church (Rick Warren's church *author of Purose Driven Life - his youth pastor is Doug Fields *author of Purpose Driven Youth Ministry)...it's a huge church. Brian has been before, but Maureen has never been able to go. We are NOT taking the boys! Yikes! Maureen's mom and brother are coming to stay with the boys. It will be a nice break for all of us! We are going to try and get together with Maureen's cousin Doug and his fiance, Erin as well as Brian's cousin Kandis...they all live in CA..
Well, I guess that's it for now. Time for the boys to go to bed!
