Staff b-day cake for work!

No, we have not disappeared off the face of the planet! We have been SO busy! Um....last you read - we celebrated Colin's birthday. We had Jake and Amanda's wedding - the boys were ring bearers and Brian performed the ceremony. They all did so well - and looked super handsome in their suits! New Years was celebrated like normal - Brian was at church with the youth kids and the boys and I celebrated at home with sparkling cider and party poppers at 8:30pm! We have now been back to our routine for a week and a half. The boys do NOT like getting up early or going to bed early for that matter. Colin has tons of homework, which he hates doing - but is so great at! He is reading so many books - Magic Tree House and Junie B. Jones. He bought himself a Christian Activity book for kids from the christian bookstore - it has a ton of mad libs in it - he thinks they are hilarious!! He has also started upwards basketball. It is a Nazarene run basketball program for elementry age students. They get a reversible jersey, weekly memory cards, a practice t-shirt, a cd with hip christian music....he came home with such a sense of pride! Can't wait for the games to start. Brian is co-coaching Colin's team. Here are a few pictures to update you....plus a few cakes I have made recently!
