Road Trip

We are home and finally back to routine here in the Seidel house.
We ventured up north to Spokane for the weekend - for the funeral service for Brian's grandma Ruth Seidel. It was a very long ride in the car up there - especially since none of the boys napped! We left our house at 8am Friday and arrived in Spokane around 4pm. We were all ready to not be sitting in the car! We spent Friday evening with Brian's grandparents (from his mom's side). After dinner out, Brian took the boys swimming in the hotel pool - by the way, we will never stay at a hotel that does not have a pool! It sure keeps them occupied - and it's a great reward (especially since they have to be so quiet in a hotel room). Saturday was with the Seidel side of the family - the service was at 1pm, which meant no naps again. We went to Brian's uncle and aunt's house for dinner. It was great to see all of the family. Sad that we all had to gather for the funeral, but happy we had a 'mini' family reunion. Saturday night in the hotel, at seperate times, both boys fell off the bed and didn't wake up! I woke up at 10:45pm and found Colin on the floor. Then, at 3:30am when I got up to feed Cameron, I found Curtis on the floor. Both were exhausted! We got up early Sunday morning, packed up the car and headed for home. We arrived at home at 5:15pm. We were so glad to be home! The boys had a bath and went to bed early. It was great! Monday was spent getting back to our routine. (Note: yes, we took our camera with us to Spokane, but no, we didnt' take a single picture....sorry!)
We are so busy in the next few weeks, well actually until spring break, we are busy every weekend! Yikes! Oh well...guess that's what keeps us young...:)

Curtis at the dinner table - he is always the last one sitting there. Any ideas on how to get him to finish his dinner??!?! We can't seem to find what motivates him!

Ping Pong with daddy - PLEASE ignore the mess!!!

Cameron - he is SO close to rolling over. He can get his hips over, but doesnt' know what to do with his arms...here he is on the floor. He had some assistance rolling this time. I love this picture!

So funny about the boys falling off the bed and not waking up! I believe Gabe did that once before. Glad to have you back at school :)
